This is one heckuva collaborative effort between two British companies who pride themselves on careful design and proper aesthetics. The ODFU x OEM limited-edition tees and custom bike-build, the Osprey, are turning heads and creating buzz in the custom motorcycle scene.
Imagine tearing around a board track speedway in this little gem. Back in 2004, this 750cc beastie was found in Livermore, California. We received a heads-up via email from Dennis Suter at Vintage Flat Trackers that this was for sale, ahem, for $75,000. The email says that these cars were raced on half-mile and mile tracks from Long Beach to Portland.
No more hemming and hawing. No more worrying or waiting. We borrowed things, pooled our money and did whatever it took. In tears and quiet frustration, we were all thinking the same thing: “Let’s go on a big ride.”
Our Russian sidecar motorcycles aren’t just novelties meant for parading about (though they do this quite well). While often our basic transportation, we don’t mind getting ‘em dirty and turning ‘em loose off road. Some folks may deem them anemic, but we’ve found there’s plenty of spirit in the throttle to have fun. Case in point: the story and video that follows…
