Celebs on Cycles
We like these glimpses into pop culture and how they illustrate the way motorcycling enhances the facade of celebrity personae. In photographic archives, throwing a leg over an old British classic or Honda scrambler can be as cool as throwing on a Perfecto leather jacket or rockin’ a pair of Ray-Bans.
Of course that doesn’t necessarily mean that all of these folks were only it for the image. Some are genuinely interested in motorcycling. Bob Dylan (below) is well known for his love of Triumphs and it’d be hard to argue that Creedence Clearwater Revival isn’t having fun during their photo opp (top photo).
The Killer with his white shoes and 13-year old wife/cousin. Jerry Lee Lewis is an example of how some celebrities don’t always make the best decisions; cool bike, though.
