Volker Schmidt’s custom conversion of a DR 800 Big grabbed our attention and held it for a good while. We Yankees seldom see even the stock version of the “big” Suzuki enduro, so it was cool to see such a twist on what is already an intriguing bike. Read on to see what inspired this unique German build.

They will celebrate their 10th Anniversary this year (2014) with a new, dialed-in and rockin’ motorcycle, scooter and hot rod event complete with a 3-day weekend of live music, a pin-up contest, vendor booths and much more. Introducing, “MOTOBLOT.”
This photo set is just a fraction of what you’ll see at Motorcycles on Meridian, a huge gathering of bikes during the Red Bull Indianapolis GP weekend. If you’re in town for the race or you’re a local Hoosier, just point your bike toward the center of the city and you’ll see the streets swelling with motorcycles. It all starts up again around 4pm today (Saturday 8/17).
