Shop: Devolve Raleigh NC
The guys at Devolve describe the store as part adventure shop, part fashion boutique, part urban oasis. This motorcycle-centric destination in Raleigh, NC is definitely worth a visit. Here’s Casey’s quick review after a recent visit…
Devolve co-owner, Greig Hochreiter, pictured above, rides in to work on his Ural sidecar motorcycle. You can find him making deliveries or making a run to the post office on this shop bike.
You’ll find quality adventure brands like NEMO Equipment, Eartheasy, and Poler Stuff. They also carry moto-centric and fashionable accessories from Tellason, Iron & Resin, Deus Ex Machina, and Pendleton along with protective goods from Simpson Helmets, Roland Sands Designs, and Biltwell to name just a few.
What makes this a literal oasis for the Raleigh area is their café, featuring local coffee, baked goods, and cold beers. Click here to view their menu. It’s clearly evident that they want to make visitors feel welcome, kick their heels up and stay awhile.
Casey snapped these pics to show how much care and creativity went into the buildout and decor. From the paint and patina of the walls to the distressed lumber that warms up the interior, the atmosphere and merchandising was top notch.
Greig Hochreiter left the film industry in North Carolina to team up with two other motorcycle-inspired partners, Charles Long and Clark Hipolito. Together, they’d create “an all encompassing adventure lifestyle destination store that has a little bit of everything you need to get out and explore the world whether it be by land, air or sea.”
What can you find at Devolve? “A little bit of everything you need to get out in the world and stir up some trouble, plus all the goods to clean you up afterwards.” – Greig Hochreiter
