The ABCs of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

There are many, many reasons we attend AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The bikes, the swap meet, the racing and the overall atmosphere created by motorcycle enthusiasts is an experience we don’t wanna miss. We were fortunate to have worked with the good folks at the American Motorcyclist Association to help convey the vibe of VMD (see the video at the end of the post). After going through our pics, here’s an alphabetical and photographic rundown of why we love attending this event.

  1. Went in 2011, missed 2012 hope to make it back this year, was way better than daytona {now a disappointment to me}….The racing is top notch, swap meet off the hook every one there was great!! Looking forward to 2013

  2. M – Man’s best friend?

I was under the impression that Dogs were not allowed anywhere on premises, even in the campground?

I would LOVE to bring my dog, he has ridden more than 10k miles in his sidecar. Can you confirm DOGS ARE ALLOWED AT VMD???

    1. Hi, Tim.

The AMA VMD site says, “No furry friends. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course does not allow pets.” Check with the track about service animals.

      Take care.
