Heindl Engineering: Ural Sidecar Dealer

Heindl Engineering

We’re penning this post a week ahead of Heindl Engineering‘s 2016 Winter Open House on February 20th. If you’re near or passing through Eaton, OH, stop in to see their newly expanded showroom stocked with new Ural and Royal Enfield motorcycles. This shop is our go-to source for Ural parts and service (GSG-recommended).

Click here to see a map of where they’re located in Preble County, Ohio. It’s off the beaten path, tucked back into farm country, but these guys draw in customers from all over the States, earning a solid reputation as one of the top Ural dealers in the USA.

Heindl is owned and operated by Jon Heindl (president) and his father Dave Heindl (vice president). They broke into the motorcycle market in 2003 designing and manufacturing high-quality service stands for bikes. In 2005 they pursued their interest in Ural Motorcycles, sought technical training from IMWA and became authorized to sell and service the Russian-made sidecar motorcycles.

If you stop in, tell Jon and Dave that the Wilkinson Bros say, ‘hello’. We’ll warn you now, when you walk up on those shiny new sidecars, you’re gonna be tempted to buy one.

If you wonder whether adventuring around in a sidecar is fun or a worthy investment, we wouldn’t hesitate to say, “yes!” Take our word for it, in a short amount of time it’s easy to acclimate to their three-wheel stance. It’s a blast.
